Martin Leaper, currently The Midlands’ Area Sales Manager for MACH Machine Tools and Machine Tools Sales Online (MTSO) and part of The Vigilance Group, has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the month (June 2023).

Martin is a well-known, popular and seasoned sales professional with over 38 years’ experience in the Machine Tool sector.

During his 47-year career he held a number of senior sales, product and managing director positions in many machine tool companies i.e., Bridgeport, Mikron, Matsuura and XYZ.

He joined the Vigilance Group in November 2020 where he was instrumental in helping drive sales growth for both MACH Machine Tools and MTSO, as the UK emerged from pandemic.

Martin was a familiar figure at Metcut and subsequent MACH exhibitions – attending every event, as either a visitor or exhibitor, since 1986. He also attended many EMO Shows in Hannover, Milan and Paris during the same period.
